Vintage Feast

Jennifer Caminiti Thanksgiving Blog

Hostess with the Mostess in a coordinating Mid Mod skirt!

I’m Jennifer Caminiti, Owner of Mod Lounge Paper Co.

We redesigned our dining room last year. A velvet flame stitch bench flanks the dining table, a strong starburst chandelier and colors of turquoise and amber fill the room to create a mid century modern look.

I was inspired by that design to create the Vintage Turkey Collection. Now you can have a stylish and organized Thanksgiving too!

(Yes, the hostess HAS to coordinate with the party theme, so a mod skirt in Fall colors seemed appropriate!)

I created the Vintage Turkey invite using the flame stitch and colors of the dining room bench. Now more thank ever with stay at home encouraged, guests love the excitement of a hand written invitation in the mail.

The Vintage Turkey place cards were used at the dinner table. A white paint pen was used to write guests names. Another pack was used to identify items at the food buffet.

After dinner your guests can pack up their food in to go containers and write their name on these self-stick leftover stickers. Stickers come in a set of 20. Set a small “to go” station to encourage guests to take some leftovers (so you’re not stuck having stuffing for the next 5 days!)
Warning: You might get made fun of for being a little too organized and over the top…but hey, aren’t you?

Amber glass accessories found at local thrift shops were used for mints, flanked by mini white pumpkins. Fall candles created a complete Thanksgiving ambiance.
